KONICA MINOLTA AT GRAFITALIA 2009: SCALING UP NEW STANDARD
Monday 02. March 2009 - Konica Minolta will be premiering a new series of production printing systems at Grafitalia 2009, the leading technology fair for the commercial printing in Italy.
At the exhibition, Konica Minolta will present in advance the monochrome system bizhub PRO 1200. The machine was developed inhouse and, equipped with a new RIP (Raster Imaging Processor), it is intended to build on the success of bizhub PRO 1050. Konica Minolta also takes the opportunity to reveal to the public for the first time, bizhub PRO C65hc, the highest system, perfect for the exacting demands of the professional colour-printing market. It uses toners with innovative high-chroma-dry technology: great news for graphic and design companies who work extensively with colour.
Things get a lot more colourful with bizhub PRO C5501, C6501 and C6501e/eP, enhanced versions of the successful bizhub PRO C5500 and bizhub PRO C6500e/eP. Equipped with the advanced Creo Controller for higher print quality, they were launched in Italian market recently and their main improvements have been to image quality and product life, to satisfy ever greater customer requirements.
Besides the hardware, Konica Minolta’s strength also lies in our proprietary workflow solutions such as the Printgroove POD Suite. They automate internal work processes, make them controllable and enable them to be designed efficiently. This is something that customers are coming to appreciate, because they increasingly realise that their crucial growth advantage lies in this area.
Pringroove, together with other important applications like micropress, will be presented combined with our sophisticated printing systems.
Many users would appreciate how digital systems manage to respond even more
effectively to major print service providers’ specific needs and produce very large
output volumes of excellent quality, comparable to off-set one, within a short
space of time.
