Monday 02. March 2009 - During Converflex 2009, we are pleased to introduce our latest model of slitters with individual winding stations having combined peripheral and axial drive :

• Best for a flexible production and a wide range of materials
• Essential when the material thickness is variable
• Fully automatic thanks to many options available:
o Web cutting and finished reels closure
o Reel unloading and transport
o New core preparation and restart
o Reel packaging, labelling and robotized palletizing
o Automatic size change according to the slitting program
These machines have been designed to slit and rewind paper, laminates, cardboard, labels and plastic films also with uneven thickness.
Their configuration with individual stations, each equipped with own motorization, offers a high quality of the wound reels and allows a full automation of the downstream process.
As option they can be integrated with an automatic positioning system for knives and counterknives which reduces downtimes when the slitting size are changed.
They can be fitted with a “turret” type or double unwinding stand.
Versions with frictioned winding shafts are also available, for specific needs.
