Monday 02. March 2009 - The international acting eltromat group will use the CONVERFLEX 2009 in Milan to make the new products known to the market.
As a worldwide acting manufacturer and solutions provider eltromat is a valued partner at OEMs and end customers for the optimization of printing processes of all printing technologies. At the exhibition the news of the product lines _vision, _register, _colour and _flow will be presented and demonstrated.
The new eltromat video systems webvideo_star 1000 and webvideo_star 2000 offer at the job preparation and the set-up procedure a tremendous time saving. A minimum operational effort and higher press speeds are possible.
As a novelty the new developed register control system regi_star 20 will be on display. With the intelligent connection between the regi_star 20 and the web video system webvideo_star 2000 the time and waste consuming register fine adjustment when using materials sensitive to transversal and skew positioning can be automated. This option – _aft (Automatic Fine Tuning) – measures the register on both, left and right sides of the web with very high precision. Then the printing width and skew are calculated and the regi_star 20 takes over the respective correction values. Another highlight is the _sc (Skew Control), providing for the automatic control of motor-driven skew rollers in gravure printing units. The combination of _aft (Automatic Fine Tuning) and _sc (Skew Control) provide the optimum solution for the automation. The benefit is the extremely high scanning safety with the same setting, even when dealing with problematic register marks at low contrast or metalised surfaces. Automatic adaptation of the control parameters and setting speeds reduces the amount of paper waste during set-up, start-up and speed changes tremendously.
Also the densicon_2 will be shown for the first time. It is a closed-loop colour control system for offset presses. It is an innovative system solution for colour control and quality records. It is using small and staggered mark patterns. densicon_2 is the answer to increasing material prices and stands for a significant reduction of waste especially in the packaging when special colours are printed.
With the new print check_7000 eltromat is back at the 100% print defect detection business. In less than one minute the set-up is done. The system is adaptable to all kinds of web fed printing processes and is able to recognize in real time print defects, e. g. colour variations, doctor streaks, spots and splashes. It is dedicated to handle all kinds of substrates inc. transparent and reflective materials
