Cascades distinguishes itself at the IR Magazine Canada Awards

Monday 02. March 2009 - Cascades Inc. (CAS on the Toronto Exchange) is pleased to announce that it was recognized not just once, but twice, at the gala of the IR Magazine Canada Awards 2009, held on February 6 in Toronto.

Cascades wishes to take this opportunity to thank its shareholders, the financial analysts and the various players in the investment community for their support and cooperation. It is thanks to their appreciation and to the quality of interaction they engage in with the company that Cascades is able to constantly improve the quality of its communications and its relations with investors.

The company won the award for best investor relations by sector (paper and forest products), and its Director, Investor Relations, Mr. Didier Filion, received the award for best investor relations officer for small and mid-cap companies.
