The new BST SUPER HANDYScan 4000 and PROScan 4000 video web inspection systems which offer the following innovative features: PC based systems with a high resolution digital cameras and various zooming options; space-saving single monitor design which combines system operation and display of the print using a touch screen. Printing can be monitored even on machines with limited space, and all functions can be controlled centrally; available optionals such as varnish flashes and software upgrades (e.g., colour comparison, register pre-setting) SHARK 4000 and SHARK 4000 LEX 100% real-time print defect detection systems for wide web and narrow web printing or inspection rewinders or slitters machines. SHARK 4000 has been de- signed for the inspection of larger webs. In the SHARK 4000 camera unit, up to three camera modules may be integrated, thereby allowing the system to be flexibly adapted to a web width ranging from 510 mm to 2,040 mm. Each camera module of SHARK 4000 features a state of the art colour line camera which works at high resolution along and across web, clear and detailed defect history as well as the graphic display of defect trends per type of defect. So the user gets complete information of print job at a glance, Job Report function to generate significant documentation. These reports can be very well used to demonstrate the quality of printed reels. SHARK 4000 LEX has been developed for 100% label print defect detection on rewinders and narrow web presses; it provides a lot of new functions to inspect every kind of support (reflective, opaque, transparent) or special colors (gold, silver, cold foil, etc) or special patterns (OCR, sequential codes, holograms, etc) SHARK 4000 LEX works on a Windows XPE software base and can be equipped with b/w or color cameras. The integral inline PDF comparison ensures that the reference label for the inspection is in line with customer specifications.
CLS Pro 600 line and contrast sensor with colour display, offers unrivalled ease of control for print and web edges as well as printed lines. The system combines colour line camera, high resolution colour display and an intuitive operation. The user of CLS Pro 600 benefits from immediate and clear visual feedback about web contrasts. Print jobs can be set up simply at the push of a button.
