Digital Crease-Fold System Solves Cracking Problem

Monday 23. February 2009 - To solve the problem of toner cracking on digital stock at high speeds, Tech-ni-Fold has reported great response and over 20 sales of the Turbo-Creaser which was produced in association with Agor of Spain, and is claimed to be the world's fastest digital creasing and folding machine.

Tech-ni-Fold said that the Turbo-Creaser also features micro-perforation and cutting accessories to enhance its speed and versatility.
The Turbo-Creaser also features micro-perforation and cutting accessories. The innovative machine is equipped with the latest rotary Tri-Creaser Fast Fit and was introduced at the Drupa 20008 exhibition on stand 10 C61 .
The company said that the Turbo-Creaser solves toner cracking issues when digital stock is run at the type of speeds more usually associated with presses, or folding machines.
That means that crease and fold formats can reach 18,000 copies per hour, which is said to be double the speed recorded by the fastest machine from Tech-ni-Fold’s competitors.Managing Director of Tech-ni-Fold, Graham Harris, said that he had been approached by customers to develop a faster system than the slower methods that were currently on the market.
He added that his decision was made easier when his idea was supported by two finishing manufacturers who agreed to provide folding stations to support the innovation.

Agor SL (Madrid) are responsible for worldwide sales and promotion although Tech-ni-Fold will pass on all enquiries
