Tech-ni-Folds Turbo-Creaser set become the worlds fastest digital creasing and folding solution for digital printers
Tuesday 27. May 2008 - Tech-ni-Fold has co-produced what they believe could be the worlds fastest digital creasing and folding machine in the world. The Turbo-Creaser will be launched at Drupa 08 on stand 10 C61 from May 29th to June 11th.
The Turbo-Creaser will be equipped with the very latest rotary Tri-Creaser technology that solves the problem of toner cracking on digital stock at speeds more associated with presses or folding machines. This means that crease and fold formats can easily reach 18000 copies per hour, this is at least double the speed recorded by the fastest competitor.
Managing Director of Tech-ni-Fold, Graham Harris emphasised that he had been approached by many customers to develop a faster solution to the notoriously slower methods on the market. The decision was made easier when Harriss idea was backed up by two finishing manufacturers who agreed to mass produce the machine and also add a folding unit (both companies will remain unnamed until just prior to the Drupa launch)
As if speed and quality of crease wasnt enough Tech-ni-Fold innovators have also added groundbreaking micro-perf and cutting accessories to compliment the new innovation. Harris claimed that the combination of speed and versatility of finishing applications will set the machine apart from the rest.
