Get More from Exhibitions With New IIR Consultancy Service

Friday 16. January 2009 - IIR Exhibitions has launched Performance Index, an efficient, free and unique consultancy service for all exhibitors at IIR print events. Performance Index has been created to set exhibitors on the path to get more from their exhibition investment and ultimately increase performance. Available for the first time to the print industry, this service enables exhibitors to easily identify and prioritise their show objectives and evaluates how well these objectives have been achieved by providing precise measurable results.

Exhibitors at any IIR print exhibition – Northprint, Total Print! Expo, Ipex South Asia or Ipex – will be automatically included in this three-stage soon after the event, just in time for in-house post-event evaluation. IIR Exhibitions will present the findings in a detailed report. In addition, using Performance Index on consecutive print events will be beneficial in increasing the effectiveness of each subsequent one.

Nick Craig Waller, Ipex 2010 marketing director, comments: “We’ve invested heavily in Performance Index to offer a consultative approach that provides the basis to examine an exhibitor’s investment and how it can be tailored to meet their specific objectives. Performance Index is a simple, reliable and effective way to get the most out of the exhibition investment long-term and will further cement the relationship between the exhibitor and us as organisers.

“Many exhibitors fail to set specific objectives or any objectives at all. Performance Index provides a simple framework to address this. By working together, we can ensure that our events deliver a more rewarding business experience for exhibitors as well as their customers across a number of exhibitions. Whether your key objectives are to launch a new product successfully to market, increase sales or generate brand awareness, we’re constantly thinking of new ways to work with exhibitors to increase their exhibition performance and develop a tailored solution that meets their individual requirements.”

Performance Index is managed by Vivid Interface Ltd, a leading events and venue research consultancy with an impressive track record in collecting and analysing exhibitor data. It was launched in 2007 and has been successfully used at more than 22 events around the world. All data sent to Vivid is confidential and will not be shared with other exhibitors.

Geoffrey Dixon, managing director at Vivid Interface concludes: “Exhibitors want to get maximum return from an event and organisers play an important role in achieving this. However, in order to provide strategic advice, organisers need to understand exhibitors’ sales, marketing and distribution objectives. Performance Index does exactly that.”
