Taking into account the special requirements of various sectors of industry is one of the strong points of the vacuum specialists J. Schmalz GmbH in D-72293 Glatten. On the basis of a wide range of services and products such as vacuum tube lifters and vacuum lifting devices, available in various versions and suspended from small crane systems and overhead cranes with rails made from steel or aluminium, Schmalz can offer material-flow solutions for almost any application.
Schmalz provides branch-specific vacuum handling systems for the sectors of metal/sheet metal, wood/plastics, the aerospace industry, logistics/packaging, wind power/solar systems and also for the chemicals and pharmaceuticals industry. The solutions for the last-named industry are presented comprehensively in the new brochure “Branch Solutions for the Chemicals/Pharmaceuticals Industry”. This 12-page brochure shows possible applications of vacuum handling systems for the ergonomic and efficient handling of workpieces in the areas:
– handling of sacks
– handling of canisters and buckets
– handling of barrels
– handling of special products in the chemicals and pharmaceuticals industry
Particular attention is paid to the special configuration of the various vacuum tube lifters “Jumbo” and vacuum lifting devices “VacuMaster”. The vacuum tube lifters Jumbo can, for example, be equipped with suction pads for damage-free handling of plastic and paper sacks. A suitable gripper solution is also available for handling barrels with a capacity of up to 200 litres and correspondingly high weights. Further options are mechanical grippers for handling buckets and canisters or multiple grippers for simultaneous handling of several workpieces.
