Dagens Media: First customer to use Escenic Content Studio 5.0

Tuesday 30. December 2008 - Dagens Media, one of the leading magazines in theTalentum Group will be the first customer to use Escenic Content Studio 5.0. Talentum is a leading media company in Finland and Sweden producing magazines, books, training and online content for professionals in different specialist fields.

Talentum’s Dagens Media will be the first customer to use Escenic Content Studio 5.0. With Version 5.0, writers and editors at Dagens Media will be able to complete all work, including more peripheral tasks within the same work space. A project team including Escenic R&D, Talentum consultants and development management, and the hosting company Qbranch has already set the plan for the project.

“This project will give us the possibility to install and test our new CMS at a demanding customer. We will then be prepared to roll out this version to existing and new customers around the world” said Tom Handegård, CTO at Escenic and responsible for product development.

Pierre Sjödell, Area manager for Digital Media at Talentum said “We are very happy to be able to be the first customer using version 5. To have early access to all the new features in Escenic version 5 will give our editors the full potential to handle the web and other digital channels”.

Escenic Content Studio and Escenic Content Engine are used by 600 news media websites worldwide, including some of the most advanced and most visited news sites. Escenic is the core internet publishing tool for news publishers like: UK-based News International (The TimesOnline, The Sun, News of the World), The Daily Telegraph and The Independent). As well as, German Axel Springer Group, Scandinavian Schibsted, Bonnier and A-pressen, Dutch De Telegraaf, PCM, NDC, and Wegener, South African Avusa and Canadian Globe and Mail.
