Founder releases version 4.01 of its EagleRIP
Friday 26. December 2008 - Beijing Founder Electronics has today released EagleRIP version 4.01.
The modification and improvement of EagleRIP 4.01 compared with EagleRIP 4.0 includes:
(1) Founder’s latest RIP interpreter technology.
Supports PDF 1.6/1.7, support Adobe CS3.
(2) Support to recalibrate the existing calibration curve.
(3) Support Vista OS (only TIFF driver and Winprint driver).
(4) Upgrade the latest PDF trapping module.
Support small object protection.
Support to add overprint for black objects option.
(5) Support Tifflow plugin for 1 bit TIFF PostRIP imposition workflow solution.
(6) Improve the stability of Hot Folder working method.
(7) Improve the preview quality under Contone color mode.
(8) Support more than 16 AppleTalk and NtPipe inputs.
(9) Improve the spot color function.
You can choose to output some spot colors in a job as CMYK color and output some spot colors in the same job as separations or remove some spot colors.
(10) Support Screen Katana 5055 PIF interface.
(11) Support Founder EagleCTP DL8500.
(12) Modify the installation method of FjLuxel device driver in order to automatically connect FiLuxel device. With this method, the only Fjluxel device type that is installed is Fujifilm Luxel F9000 during the installation of EagleRIP, if youd like to use other FjLuxel devices, please delete the default Fujifilm Luxel first in Device Manager, exit RIP, then restart it and install the FjLuxel device in Device Manager, and select the device type you like e.g. Fujifilm Luxel F6000 from the device list.
