Film provides the ideal finish for furnishing
Monday 22. December 2008 - RPC Cobelplast-Montonate has launched a new range of A-PET film offering an exceptional visual and practical finish for home furnishings.
“There is a huge market for high quality finishes on products such as doors, kitchens and bedrooms,” comments Patrizia De Rudi, Business Development at RPC Cobelplast-Montonate. “As well as protecting the furnishings against wear and tear, the use of coloured films can achieve eye-catching results to enhance home décor.”
Currently, the finishing market is dominated by PVC, but RPC Cobelplast-Montonate believes that the choice of A-PET provides furniture manufacturers with a robust solution that offers a glossier appearance, better chemical resistance and an improved environmental profile.
Development of the range underlines RPC Cobelplast-Montonates expertise in the creation of premium films, as manufacture requires a high degree of technical skill. Films must be perfectly flat without any bulges, be extremely clean and offer vivid colours. The RPC range currently comprises 11 distinctive colours, plus two metallised options for more creative applications.
