TOSHIBA AND DOCUWARE TEAM TO PROVIDE STATE-OF-THE-ART DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT
Thursday 18. December 2008 - New software provides simplified capture and storing of documents to DocuWare using Toshiba digital scanning technology.
Toshiba TEC and DocuWare today introduced a new version of DocuWare CONNECT to Toshiba that simplifies integrated document management. The software allows the smooth integration of any e-BRIDGE Toshiba Multifunctional Product (MFP) into the industry-leading document management system, DocuWare. The smart, digitalised document processing improves overall efficiency, eliminating the need to maintain paper-based document workflows.
Based on Toshibas Open Platform MetaScan technology, the new software connector allows the scanning, indexing and archiving of any documents in one seamless process directly at the MFP. Scanned documents, including Meta-data in XML format, are automatically transferred to the central DocuWare document pool for further pro-cessing.
