Diamant Art Corporation Announces New Food Film Status Rating With the Canadian Food Inspection Agency

Thursday 18. December 2008 - Diamant Art Corporation (OTCBB: DIAAF) is pleased to announce that through its wholly owned subsidiary, Bio-Plastics Film Inc., that the Company has received notification that the Canadian Food Inspection Agency has granted Non-Objection status to its food cling film. This designation means that Diamant's cling film has been tested and found safe to be utilized in food applications.

A letter from CFIA to this effect is expected in the next few weeks. The Company anticipates that this will continue to enable the Company to open doors to those companies involved in the food industry.
Diamant has recently announced shipments of millions of feet of the Company’s biodegradable pallet wrap, and that the Company has achieved substantial production capabilities boosting our ability to meet growing demand. The Company production capacity will allow us to deliver enough of our proprietary BIO-PLAS additive to produce up to 25 billion grocery bags a year, or an average of 137,000,000,000 square feet of film, which is equal to approximately 275,000,000 rolls at 5,000 feet in length respectively.
The Company seeks to utilize this extensive level of inventory to participate in the paradigm shift guiding the direction of our ecological future. These factors considered, we would like to remain focused on the fact that regardless of the volatility of the financial markets, our vision remains fixed on the fact that our fundamentals improve daily.
