Millwood Inc. Announces Expansion of Liberty Technologies Business
Thursday 11. December 2008 - Industry Leader Expands Manufacturing Capacity
Millwood Inc., a Girard, Ohio-based industry leader and innovator of unit load and packaging products and services, announces an expansion of their Liberty Technologies Boardman, Ohio manufacturing facility.
Liberty Technologies, a Millwood Inc. company, has created a unique selection of diversified packaging/material handling equipment for their customers throughout the world. By combining industry knowledge with creative engineering experience and a wide variety of products supported by timely service, Liberty is able to fulfill customer demands as a “One Stop Connection” supplier.
According to Rich Evick, Senior V.P. of Liberty Technologies, “This expansion provides the floor space and additional capacity for manufacturing material handling and pallet sorting systems. Specifically, Liberty Technologies can now incorporate both an electrical panel and precision machine shop providing for greater testing flexibility and maintaining inventory of finished product. The new space provides expanded opportunities to custom tailor all of our operations to individual customer needs, and allows for the simultaneous production of multiple projects.”
The expanded facility also serves as Liberty’s headquarters for global manufacturing, engineering, technical service and parts distribution. The Boardman management team includes: Chuck Smith, Manufacturing Manager; Mike Brown, Technical Service Manager; Kristi Waid, Sourcing Manager; and Judy Gaither, Customer Service Manager.
