ANL Plastics

Friday 21. November 2008 - ANL develops and manufactures thermoformed plastic packaging. They provide answers to the most diverse packaging puzzles through tailor-made solutions. Besides, ANL offers a standard range of packaging for particularly the retail market and the biscuits and chocolate industry. Furthermore, the company created and developed a number of packaging concepts as Pyramid, Visiopac en Cubb-X.

Throughout the years, this family owned company, founded in 1938, has become a standard in the European market. Meanwhile, based on family foundations, this company employs over 400 people having gathered a considerable amount of technical and market know-how. Headquartered in Wellen (Belgium) with a second production site in Cahors (France) ANL Plastics manufactures over 2 billion thermoformed trays per annum, representing about 70 million Euro turnover.

A wide range of packaging
1) Internal Food Packaging (IFP): this product range specializes in bespoke and standard packaging for biscuits, chocolate and ice cream applications.
2) External Food Packaging (EFP): this division manufactures packaging for the meat, fish, catering, and vegetable and fruit industry.
3) Techniforms: within this division, all packaging is created to bring solutions for the high-tech industry. This concerns packaging for :
a. Internal transport (electronics, spare parts,…)
b. Impact sensitive products (computers, laptops, printers, hard disks,…)
c. Technical parts (insulation sheets, heat exchanger, furniture spare parts,…)
d. Consumer goods (toys, portables, household appliances, …)
e. Cosmetics

In addition to the above product divisions, ANL created and developed a number of packaging concepts of their own :
1) Pyramid: a packaging concept for industrial and traditional bakeries made of a cardboard base and a transparent plastic lid.
2) Visiopac and VisioPac Alu: a dome packaging (plastic or aluminium base and plastic dome), gas-sealed and hence guaranteeing extended shelf-life, combined with enhanced product presentation.
3) Cubb-X: a highly glossy, crystal clear blister packaging, available in either the shape of a cube or a rectangle. The packed product is being strongly highlighted in the Cubb-X? thanks to the folded cardboard or thermoformed plastic insert.
