The product range covers all aspects of injections

Wednesday 12. November 2008 - The product range covers all aspects of injections

State-of-the-art technologies for prefillable syringe systems are the key area of focus of the Gerresheimer Group’s exhibi¬tion at China Pharm in Peking. At the prestigious trade fair for pharmaceutics and life sciences, to which visitors from all over Asia are expected in the Olympic city from 12 to 14 November 2008, the international syringe competence Gerresheimer Bünde presents a cross-section of its highly advanced product range (Hall 8, Stand 3338/3335).

Ready-to-Fill (RTF) systems delivered in a sterile state, syringes with baked-on siliconisation for delicate biotech drugs, intelligent acces¬sories for safe and reduced-pain injections, modern product labelling by laser encoding, and heat transfer printing – these are the latest top themes of the presentation, says Burkhard Lingenberg, Director of Marketing and Communication for the Gerresheimer Group. All questions of importance today for every aspect of syringe use is therefore answered by the product range with a practical solution. Because of the worldwide success of the innovative range, Lingen¬berg adds, Gerresheimer doubled its production of RTF syringes in Germany just last year, and further expansion is currently under way, increasing capacity by another third from 2009.

The display in Peking highlights the product range for injections across all its segments: apart from the particularly high-growth sterile systems it continues to include bulkware syringes in all relevant categories. In addition, visitors to the trade fair can of course inform themselves about the other products of the Tubular Glass Division, starting with glass tubes as intermediate products and including a unique variety of cartridges, ampoules and vials for every requirement – a large part of which are manufactured directly in China.

Gerresheimer is firmly established in the Chinese market with state-of-the-art production facilities for tubular glass products. The company has for many years been licensed in China as a manufacturer of pharmaceutical primary packaging, including syringes.
