Puerto Rico Printer Upgrades Cutting Capabilities with POLAR 92 X from Heidelberg
Monday 10. November 2008 - Martin Printing, a general commercial shop in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico, has added a POLAR 92 X cutter from Heidelberg to its postpress lineup.
“I had an older used cutter, but the automation features were not working,” said Hector Lauzurique, one of the companys partners. “We started getting a lot of long-run jobs, and we needed a better cutter to handle them. Our new POLAR cutter is programmable and much faster than our old cutter.” Lauzurique and his team came to Kennesaw earlier this year to tour Heidelbergs Print Media Demonstration Center (PMDC), where they saw the latest POLAR cutters first-hand and were quickly sold on the benefits of the 92 X. “Its working very well,” he said. “The POLAR 92X is an impressive machine.” Martin was founded in 1967 and currently has 25 employees.
