BEIL assumes worldwide sales for Berth

Wednesday 05. November 2008 - with immediate effect, BEIL Registersysteme GmbH, Abensberg assumes the worldwide sales of the company Berth Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG, Gladenbach. With this agreement, which was made today at the drupa (May 29 to June 11, Messe Düsseldorf), the Hessian specialist for fully-automatic printing plate processing opens a worldwide market via the BEIL Group while BEIL at the same time completes its broad product range advancing to a real full-line supplier for punching and bending of printing plates. There is no change regarding the contact persons for service and spare parts: Berth Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG remains the central contact for all existing customers.

BEIL Registersysteme GmbH – or internationally speaking, the BEIL Group – is the company with the largest product range in the field of punching and bending of printing plates for sheet offset and reel-fed offset on the market, who provide above all an excellent, worldwide active sales and service network. Due to the co-operation with Berth, the BEIL Group completes its product range in the high-end field. All products of both companies can be seen live and tested at the completely new designed training centre of BEIL in Abensberg.
Founded in 1947, Berth Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG is considered one of the leading companies for automatic processing of printing plates. However, developing a worldwide sales and service network turned out to be a difficult undertaking for the company domiciled in Gladenbach near Giessen. Therefore, for a long time, the Hessian company was looking for a strong partner whose service network they could use to improve their customer proximity. With the BEIL Group, the company now found such a partner.
