Kodak Print Innovation Recognized at Graph Expo Trade Show
Tuesday 04. November 2008 - Companys Stream Concept Printhead Noted as a Significant Future Technology
Eastman Kodak Company (NYSE:EK) has been recognized for its print innovation with 10 awards at Graph Expo 2008, a graphic communications trade show being held in Chicago. Recently introduced products from Kodak received a combined total of 10 “Must See ems,” “Worth-a-Look” and “Future Print” citations. Winners were selected from more than 5,000 entries.
“Its an honor to earn prestigious Must See ems awards, which distinguish products and services for their ability to positively impact a product category,” said Kevin Joyce, Chief Marketing Officer, Kodaks Graphic Communication Group. “Our 10 recognitions in various categories reflect our efforts to develop solutions that can help customers grow in all segments of the industry.”
Must See ems products and services represent the technology most likely to impact all types of print service providers. Products that dont have as wide an application or broad impact on the industry, yet are important for niche markets or selected groups of printers or converters, are recommended to Graph Expo visitors as Worth-a-Look. A new category called Future Print was introduced this year to recognize future technology and concepts. The KODAK DIGIMASTER EX300 Digital Production System and the Stream Concept Printhead from Kodak were two of four products recognized in this area.
KODAK COLORFLOW Software, KODAK FLEXCEL NX Digital Flexographic Plates, KODAK NEXPRESS Dimensional Clear Dry Ink and CX Screening Technology from Kodak earned Must See ems. Worth-a-Look recognition went to the KODAK INSITE Campaign Manager, KODAK DARWIN VDP Software and KODAK VERSAMARK VL2000 Printing System.
KODAK Web to print Solutions was designated as “Still Worth-a-Look,” which recognizes past Must See ems that remain broadly important and represent compelling products or services.
