Dr. Volker Hues Appointed CFO of Jungheinrich AG
Friday 17. October 2008 - Dr. Volker Hues (44) has been appointed to the Board of Management of Jungheinrich AG effective April 1, 2009. He will be in charge of finance.
Dr. Hues holds a degree in economics from Ruhr-Universität Bochum. He was in charge of several departments of relevance to the Haniel Groups controlling operations starting in 1990. Dr. Hues spearheaded the Corporate Audit Department for two years, followed by a six-year assignment at Franz Haniel & Cie. GmbHs Investment Controlling Department, during which he obtained a doctorate degree. In 1998, Dr. Hues took charge of the Chief Financial Office of the Hamburg-based boco Group, which was combined with Haniels CWS Division to create the company that currently operates as CWS-boco International GmbH with headquarters in Duisburg. Dr. Hues has been the General Manager for this part of the companys business since 2000.
