Fry, Inc. Announces New Marketing Leader and Strategic Alliances Manager

Thursday 25. September 2008 - Fry, Inc., a leading e-commerce design, development and managed services provider, today announced a new director for its marketing department and a new position focused on the company's strategic alliances.

Joey Lechtner will fill the role of director of marketing and Jennifer Wilkinson will lead the management and development of Fry’s strategic partnerships in the newly created position of manager of alliances and sales channel development.

“These two positions are vital to the continued growth of Fry and our position in the industry,” said David Fry, president of Fry Inc. “Joey brings a wealth of experience that will benefit Fry’s on-going marketing efforts and we’re very excited to have Jennifer filling the new role of leading our strategic partnerships to ensure mutually beneficial relationships with our partners.”

In his new role, Lechtner leads Fry’s marketing division, including implementing programs to expand awareness and recognition of the company. He will oversee advertising, public relations, events and other marketing initiatives.

Lechtner joined Fry in 2006 and served as the director of e-marketing services, where he consulted with clients on strategic online marketing efforts to increase customer acquisition and retention. In addition, Lechtner headed up Fry’s analytics program that offers clients an all-encompassing view into customer behaviors and lays out a strategy to capitalize on the findings.

Previously, Lechtner served as the director of merchandising for OfficeMax.com, where he led the online merchandising and marketing efforts of the consumer facing Web site. He also spent five years with American Greetings as a senior product manager.

Lechtner holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Michigan.

In Wilkinson’s new role, she is responsible for managing the execution and growth of strategic partnerships for Fry. Previously, Wilkinson was senior project manager at Fry where she managed several large-scale client implementations of Fry’s Open Commerce Platform(TM) (OCP), an e-commerce solution that enables retailers to develop an online store and create or expand their e-commerce business.

Wilkinson has more than 14 years of product and project management experience for companies that include Orbitz, United Airlines, Chase Bank, Road Runner/Time Warner Cable and Internet Broadcasting Systems. She was also a leader in the publishing industry developing early Web presences for companies like the Tribune Company, Times-Shamrock Communications and the Times Publishing Company.

Wilkinson holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and communications from the University of Florida.
