Bodoni Systems launch soft-proofing software – with free 180 day trial

Thursday 25. September 2008 - Soft-proofing offers the graphics industry the potential for huge savings. Bodoni Systems will launch viewSIGN at the Total Print Show in London on October 14th.

In anticipation of this launch we are offering a FREE 180 day trial version of the software from today. All those downloading will also receive future upgrades for the next six months.

viewSIGN works with the X-Rite Eye-One (Pro or Display2).

viewSIGN measures the monitor in the same way proofSIGN and other proof verification software packages test a proof. It tests the same colors as the Fogra Media Wedge or proofSIGN control strip. At the end of the process it gives a percentage pass based on the target CMYK ICC profile.

Once you have tested the monitor against the chosen ICC profile you can then sign the pdf to confirm the condition under which you have viewed the pdf and pass it on to your co-worker or client.

Everyone can now be sure that they are viewing the pdf in the same way.

The version of viewSIGN available on the web site is a beta version and so by offering a 180 day trial version FREE we are hoping to get maximum feedback from users. Beta testers will be able to use viewSIGN for 6 months and get all upgrades free of charge during that time.
