Canada Post Awards Transcontinental Multi -Year Contract To Publish Smartmoves Magazine

Thursday 18. September 2008 - Transcontinental Inc. is pleased to announce that Transcontinental Custom Communications has been awarded a multi-year contract by Canada Post to publish smartmoves - The Guide for your new home, its existing magazine for Canadian moving households.

Transcontinental Custom Communications will be handling all of the creative design, editorial content, printing, distribution, and fulfillment of smartmoves magazine.

Canada Post’s Change of Address service is the basis for the smartmoves program and the smartmoves magazine. The smartmoves program is a highly targeted and cost effective advertising program offering organizations innovative ways to stay connected with Canadian moving households. The magazine offers insightful information and practical guidance to help make settling into a new home more enjoyable.

The 52-page, digest-sized magazine is published three times per year and mailed weekly with an annual distribution of approximately 1.1 million copies. Businesses have the opportunity to reach moving households with national and regional outserts, polybagged in every edition. In compliance with Canada Post’s mandate to find eco-friendly options, Transcontinental Custom Communications is printing future editions of the magazine on 100% recycled paper.
