Free Document Imaging Conference on Bringing Paper Into Digital Workflows

Business and IT professionals are invited to attend eCopy Discovery Day and learn best practices for merging paper-based information into digital workflows. The free conference examines how document imaging software can easily and securely transform paper into business value. Attendees will also learn how paper-bound information can be easily integrated into leading business applications.
The conference provides an outstanding venue for organizations with existing or planned document imaging and management projects to gain insights on how to improve paper-intensive business processes. It features educational sessions that will look at how document scanning can turn paper documents into secure, accessible digital files and how to extend Microsoft SharePoint to include information on paper documents.
Discovery Day has an exhibit pavilion that includes eCopy, EMC, Canon, HP, Microsoft, Ricoh and other vendors. The pavilion presents more than 50 software products integrated with leading brands of multifunction peripherals and scanners. All participating vendors are available for individual consultations to discuss attendee document imaging and management requirements, and how organizations can move towards a paperless office environment.
Discovery Day takes place on October 9, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. including lunch. The exhibit pavilion, along with a pre-event breakfast, opens at 7:30 a.m.
The conference takes place at the Westin Copley Place Hotel, 10 Huntington Ave., Boston, Mass. Attendance is free with advance registration and walk-ins will be charged $50.
