Label Vision Systems launches the LVS RIMS

Wednesday 10. September 2008 - LVS will introduce LVS RIMS (Roll Inspection Mapping System) as a compliment to the high speed inline inspection system LVS 7000 at Labelexpo Americas 2008.

LVS RIMS takes the label roll from the LVS 7000 and positions the defects, which are ‘flagged’ electronically by the LVS 7000, automatically at the inspection table for operator action: accept or remove. LVS RIMS moves forward and backwards with equal accuracy and eliminates manual flagging, inkjet, or other methods of flagging defects. Fast and accurate placement to the inspection table increases workflow productivity. The system tracks actions taken thus providing a complete audit trail for 21CFR Part 11 considerations.
