Degrava Systems to demonstrate new DP 9500 prototype
Wednesday 10. September 2008 - Degrava Systems is planning to unveil a prototype of its DP-9500 digital color press to the industry professionals at their booth at Labelexpo Americas 2008.
Like previous models, the DP-9500 will feature proven, reliable, award-winning LED technology from OKI Printing Solutions and will be powered by Degravas Color Pro color management system. Engineered with in-plant printers, converters and manufacturers in mind, the new DP-9500 will provide the simplicity of a toner-based continuous feed system that prints on industry standard converted or non-converted paper, and synthetic adhesive-backed substrates.
Building on Degravas standard of creating brilliant, durable and visually superior color for labels, tags and other narrow web applications, the prototype will include many advancements, most notably:
An increased printing speed of 32 feet per minute color and 36 feet per minute black and white
Added material flexibility with a total media width of 12 inches
A lower fusing temperature, increasing the variety of materials that can be used with the machine.
Degravas previous products have won numerous industry awards including the Best of Show award at the Graphics of the Americas Show. With its DP 9500 Degrava Systems is aggressively pursuing increased performance in order to make their customers more productive, efficient and profitable.
