Wednesday 10. September 2008 - Cacidi Systems demonstrates lightening fast, web-based advertising production and new editorial solutions at the IFRA Expo in Amsterdam.
At the IFRA Expo, Cacidi Systems demonstrated their powerful tools for automating Adobe InDesign productions.
Cacidi Systems, one of the worlds leading developers of plug-ins for Adobe InDesign, announced today that it would participate at the IFRA Expo in Amsterdam, 27-30 October. Cacidi Systems will demonstrate the latest versions of their fast software for automated, design-driven production with Adobe InDesign, namely the successful Cacidi Extreme, Cacidi LiveMerge, and Cacidi Enterprise Server.
As one of the many novelties that will be featured at IFRA, Cacidi will also demonstrate the Cacidi LiveEditor solution, which is an editorial solution for working groups consisting of graphic designers, writers and photographers and which allows the users to create articles and set up newspaper and magazine designs in a synchronised workflow.
The new software versions are compatible with Adobe InDesign for workstations and servers and contain new functions that expand the functionality of InDesign, which makes the new software a “must see” for visitors to the IFRA Expo.

Cacidi Extreme is the worlds fastest and most advanced automated software for the production of advertisements, catalogues, inserts, pricelists and much more with Adobe InDesign. It can therefore minimise production times with fully automated production of e.g. advertising-heavy newspaper supplements, estate agents brochures and flyers, without the stereotypical appearance that usually characterises automatically produced graphical products.

In recent years, the focus of newspapers and other graphics firms has moved towards a wish for a production process that allows graphics competencies to go hand in hand with the writers and photographers input in real time – “here and now”.
This is typically achieved by the latter using ordinary internet tools (browsers) to create texts and select images etc. that are thereby automatically included in a professional graphic production.
