Diamant Corporation Announces Launch of Full Test Run on Biodegradable Plastic PET Bottling With Leading Bottling Company

Thursday 04. September 2008 - Diamant Art Corporation (OTCBB: DIAAF) is pleased to announce that through its wholly owned subsidiary, Bio-Plastics Film Inc., the company's biodegradable additive will undergo testing this month.

In conjunction with a leading Bottled Water Manufacturer, 5000 pounds of Resin will be blended with the Company’s Proprietary Biodegrading Additive for a full scale evaluation.
This formulation will produce in the range of 12,000 bottles. This initial quantity should prove sufficient for this test run, where the bottles are being evaluated by accelerated bio-exposure and then will be sent to a recycling facility so they can be re-cycled back into Re-Grind PET Resin.
Once determined that the plastic PET bottles biodegrade according to Diamant’s specifications, Diamant will fill current demand, and execute a marketing strategy to secure a segment of the industry, as legislative pressure continues to build for ecological change in this rapidly evolving marketplace.
Diamant’s biodegradable additive is strictly comprised of FDA Approved ingredients. All materials used are listed in the federal register, code of federal regulation #21 parts 170 to 199 as “Generally Recognized as Safe for Food Contact Applications.”
This revolutionary bottling additive is a proprietary material that is blended into polyethylene terephthalate (PET) which additional to its biodegrading qualities has the capability of giving it an exceptional glass-like clarity, gloss and extended barrier protection. PET bottles and containers infused with this can now be used to package a range of shelf-stable products, including salsas, pasta and barbecue sauces, tomato ketchups, similar steak and table hot sauces, jams, jellies, juices, and bottled beverages such as sodas and water.
