Graphic Packaging Features Expanded Range of Products at PMMI’s Pack Expo

Monday 28. July 2008 - Minnesota Automation Products To Be Demonstrated in Graphic Packaging Booth S-1244 South Hall

Graphic Packaging International, Inc., a subsidiary of Graphic Packaging Holding Company (NYSE:GPK), today announced that it will be an exhibitor at the Pack Expo tradeshow, sponsored by PMMI (Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute), and held at McCormick
Place in Chicago, Illinois, in November.
Effective this year, the company’s expanded range of packaging products, gained as a result of the combination of Altivity Packaging, LLC and Graphic Packaging Corporation, will be featured in the Graphic Packaging booth (S-1244) located in the South Hall of McCormick Place.
Visitors to the booth will view displays and demonstrations of award-winning carton, label, and bag packaging solutions for food, beverage and consumer products — including innovative and sustainable solutions in microwave susceptor packaging, retail-ready packaging, disappearing pallets and strength packaging, as well as new technologies for mobile-packaging promotion and durable heat transfer labels.
More specifically, Graphic Packaging will feature its newly-engineered Quik-Flex G3 fully enclosed cartoner designed to raise packaging performance to new levels for optimum high speed in-line packing of beverage, food, and consumer products. In-booth demonstrations of the new Quik-Flex G3 machine’s flexibility and efficiency will show the new generation of innovation added to the portfolio of integrated packaging systems solutions that Graphic Packaging provides.
The Graphic Packaging exhibit will also feature Dinacal labeling technology, as well as selected packaging machinery developed and marketed under Graphic Packaging’s highly respected Minnesota AutomationTM brand name. The full Minnesota Automation product line includes:
• Complete line of placers for inserting and/or positioning coupons, literature, and CD/DVD’s
• Onserters and outserters
• Collators
• Cake and pie doming
• Labeling systems
• Tray denesters
• Cartoners
Sleevers
• Special assembly machinery
