Graphic Packaging Increases Prices on Coated and Uncoated Recycled Board

Thursday 10. July 2008 - Graphic Packaging International, Inc., a subsidiary of Graphic Packaging Holding Company (NYSE: GPK), today announced a $50 per ton price increase for its coated recycled board (CRB) and uncoated recycled board (URB) to partially offset increased input costs for fiber, energy and chemicals.

As a result of the rapid escalation of transportation lane and fuel surcharge rates, the Company also announced that it would set new freight allowances.

The price increase will be effective with shipments on or after July 28, 2008 and will apply to all grades supplied by mills in Pekin, IL; Middletown, OH; Kalamazoo, MI; Battle Creek, MI; Philadelphia, PA; Wabash, IN and Santa Clara, CA.
