OMET AT LABELEXPO AMERICAS 2008
Wednesday 16. July 2008 - Leading Italian manufacturer, Omet, will be exhibiting two presses at the forthcoming Labelexpo Americas 2008 in Chicago.
The New Award-Winning X-Flex
Winner of the FTA Innovation Award 2008, the new Omet X-Flex, which was described as the best technological innovation on the market, is being given its overseas debut in Chicago. The 8-colour X-Flex on show has a 430mm web width, and its key features include markedly reduced set up times and very low waste levels. The new Vision-1 automatic inspection system assures tight register control and guarantees top print quality, even at 200 m/min. With its integrated printing unit and cooling drum, the X-Flex offers quick and easy job changeovers, as well as the excellent tension control required for filmic substrates.
The New Varyflex-F1
The new 10-colour VaryFlex F1 on show in Chicago has a 530mm web width, and is optimised for flexo, rotogravure, screen, and offset printing, with hot & cold foil, and holograms, all produced inline on any material from thin plastic film to carton. Interchangeable units, sleeve print technology and gearless drive, make the Varyflex-F1 the most flexible production system on the market, capable of top quality work at high speed, with rapid changeovers and much reduced waste levels thanks to its new Vision-1 register system.
