Business Confidence High at Workhouse as Agency Builds New Photo Studio

Monday 14. July 2008 - In contrast to the much talked about 'doom and gloom' engulfing the business world, advertising and marketing agency Workhouse Creative Marketing is bucking the trend by making a major investment in new services.

The company has started work on the building of a new photography studio at its premises in Ribchester in the Ribble Valley in Lancashire. The 3500 sq ft facility allows Workhouse to offer its clients the additional in-house services of professional commercial photography and videography.

Workhouse is investing GBP500,000 in the brand new purpose built building which will feature under-floor heating, infinity coving, changing rooms and showers. The drive-in studio will be big enough to construct four full room sets at any one time and will be the most modern photographic facility in the region.

Managing Director Mark Jones commented, “There is no denying the economy is slowing down, but it’s at times like this that businesses need to have confidence in themselves. In changing market conditions they need to compete harder, widen their range of services, and look at every new market opportunity. This is exactly what we are doing at Workhouse.

“We already have strong marketing expertise, a talented creative studio, and a progressive website marketing service. Now with a state of the art photographic facility we will be able to meet all our clients marketing requirements in-house. Whatever product or service you are promoting, we can photograph it, artwork it, and upload it all from one location.”

“I believe we are making a major investment in the creative industry in the North West. Our studio will be available for all creative professionals to use,” said Mr Jones.

The diggers moved in to Workhouse at the beginning of July and surveyors Gary Hoerty Associates and builders John Moore and Sons of Clitheroe anticipate completion by the end of October.
