Four Océ MFPs Awarded BLI Spring 2008 “Pick of the Year”

Océ was recently awarded four Spring 2008 “Pick of the Year” awards from Buyers Laboratory, Inc.(BLI). BLIs “Pick” awards are given out semi-annually to products that exhibit outstanding performance in reliability, ease-of-use, image quality, productivity and value. Three Océ color devices, the Océ cm4521, Océ cm5520 and Océ cm6520, won “Outstanding Segment 4 Business Color MFP” Pick of the Year awards; the Océ im4512 achieved the “Outstanding Segment 4 Monochrome MFP” Pick of the Year award. “We are honored to receive the level of prestige given to our devices by being awarded these Picks,” said Tom ONeill, Director Product Marketing, Océ North America, Document Printing Systems. “BLIs testing criteria and opinions are highly respected and winning these Segment 4 awards really shows our devices are in a class of their own.”
Award winning business color
The Océ cm4521, Océ cm5520 and Océ cm6520 have all been awarded the Spring 2008 “Outstanding Segment 4 Business Color MFP” in the 41-50 ppm, 51-60 ppm and 61-69 ppm speed ranges, respectively. These three devices all boast an impressive set of black & white with color features and functions that offer robust color solutions for the office environment. BLI was impressed with the overall ease-of-use and reliability of these three models and commented that “from multitasking to scanning, these three units are dependable MFPs for business color customers, general office use and color environments.” The Océ cm4521, Océ cm5520 and Océ cm6520 are perfect for a range of environments because they allow businesses to pick and choose the feature set that suits their needs best. BLI has also recognized the saddle stitch finisher on these devices that can staple up to 80 page booklets. Other notable features on these color devices are the easy to maneuver full-color operator panel, high paper capacity, optional EFI Fiery software and advanced security options.
Black & white beyond the ordinary
The Océ im4512 won the Spring 2008 “Outstanding Segment 4 Monochrome MFP” in the 40-49 ppm speed range. The Océ im4512 possesses a large paper capacity and the versatility to work with documents no matter where they originate from so that users can be more productive. Other significant features on the award winning Océ im4512 are advanced security options, 50 page document feeder and optional stapler, 2 or 3 hole punch and saddle stitch finishers. BLI also gave high marks to the Océ im4512 in IT-related categories, including ease of network setup, administrative utilities, feedback to workstations and print drivers.
