Océ VarioPrint 6250 “highly recommended” by leading independent authority

Océ, an international leader in digital document management and printing for professionals, today announced that it has received the “Highly Recommended” rating from Buyers Laboratory Incorporated. BLI is one of the leading independent providers of competitive intelligence, testing and reviews for the office equipment industry, and evaluates hundreds of products every year.
Only the select few receive BLIs “Highly Recommended” rating, which is reserved exclusively for devices that deliver outstanding features and offer users the very best. Recently the popular and innovative Océ VarioPrint 6250 emerged from a comprehensive BLI laboratory evaluation with this coveted “Highly Recommended” rating, plus a certificate of reliability.
The BLI Certificate of Reliability certifies that when the Océ VarioPrint 6250 was subjected to a durability test consisting of no less than ten million impressions in a networked environment, the system demonstrated a special level of reliability. According to BLIs report during the “extensive 10 million-page test
the unit proved to be highly reliable, experiencing a misfeed rate of just one per 333,333 impressions and not a single job from the wide array of complex production-class jobs was produced incorrectly.”
In its report, BLI also highlighted a number of other aspects of the Océ VarioPrint 6250, referring to it as “a groundbreaking production device” with “the simplest paper path of models in the marketplace.” Furthermore “the touch-screen panel is easy to navigate
and also provides excellent instructions
on the various maintenance tasks
intuitive and straightforward.” All in all: “During the course of its evaluation, the Océ VarioPrint 6250 proved to be highly productive, with throughput speed remaining constant, regardless of media and job type. “Output quality was very good overall” and “front to back registration was perfect,” the BLI report concluded.

BLI highly recommends the Océ VarioPrint 6250 for production environments” and has a “high level of confidence in the suitability of the unit for Océs recommended monthly duty cycle of 8 million impressions.”
