Tuesday 01. July 2008 - The Hohner-Mini - now suitable for 8mm loop stitching
Hohner Maschinenbau GmbH have made further developments to the 43/6S stitching head.
8 mm loop stitching has only been available so far on the Hohner 52/8 and M45/6 stitching heads. Our development department has now made this also available on the 43/6S as the ease of operation of the 43/6S has made this head more and more popular. As the demand for 8mm loop stitching is increasing simultaneously, it is absolutely essential to increase the flexibility of the 43/6S to incorporate 8mm loop stitching.
The 6mm loop has been regarded as the standard size in the past, but – judging by Hohners sales statistics – is being replaced in popularity by the larger 8mm loop. Customers place more value on the 8mm loop due to its greater flexibility in loose-leaf folders, the improved wall mounting options on calendars and finally because of the fact that tolerances are less critical during the production process, especially with thicker books.
