Hohner picks up the pace

Monday 30. June 2008 - HSB 8,000 - The new ‘’toolless’’ Saddle Binder

A quick reaction to the demands of our customer base and providing solutions to the market are important strategic principles at Hohner Maschinenbau GmbH. That is why the Saddle Binder manufacturer from Tuttlingen, Germany is introducing the newly designed HSB 8,000 at Drupa 2008.
This is an upgraded version of the popular HSB 7,000, which was introduced into the market in 2004.
The increased productivity of 8,000 cycles is only one aspect of an entire series of improvements.
For example: A new differential in individual feeding times on each feeder guarantees improved vacuum suction. The chain pitch has been decreased, running now at a slower speed, particularly helpful when running light stocks, whilst an improved shuttle increases stability and decreases the chance of spoiled sections.
Another advantage is the improved strength of the Trimmer which has been designed along the lines of it’s ‘big brother’ the HSB 10,000 and is now capable of a 10mm thickness compared to the 8mm of it’s predecessor.
The stitching unit has also been optimised in terms of both noise levels and durability.
Only slight changes have been made to the basic functions and the outstanding ease of operation in the design of the HSB 8,000 compared to the HSB 7,000. What is well established has been purposefully retained.
With the HSB 8,000 the customer can depend on the reliable Hohner quality with it’s ease of use, extremely quick set up times, and now enjoy the benefits of increased productivity.
