Thursday 26. June 2008 - Daido Shiko from Japan prefers manroland

manroland welcomes a new Japanese customer to its community. The quality offered for PP foil and plastic printing proved convincing for Daido Shiko in Nagoya.

Daido Shiko, in Nagoya, Japan, purchased a seven-color ROLAND 500 with UV equipment during drupa 2008, the first time it has opted for a manroland press. Daido Shiko, which concentrates mainly on enhanced printing on foil and plastic, has long since been intending to invest in a manroland press.

The reason: Daido Shiko’s principal competitors are also manroland customers, which is why the print shop wanted to ensure a new and stronger market position in terms of production efficiency and product value. Following a change in the company’s top management a few years ago, the new President, Mr. Yasuteru Kawase, has now decided on the present investment. When it comes to printing on specialized materials like foil and plastic for packaging, this print shop, too, swears by a ROLAND 500. Printing companys appreciate the machine’s quality and versatility.
