Eagle Press, Inc. receives Forest Stewardship Council Chain-of-Custody certification

Monday 23. June 2008 - Commonly referred to as "FSC", the Forest Stewardship Council is a non-profit organization that encourages responsible forest management. They set and maintain high standards in order to ensure that forestry practices are environmentally responsible, socially beneficial, and economically viable.

Chain-of-Custody certification verifies the flow of certified materials from forest to end product, ensuring credibility of the FSC claim.

In order to become certified, Eagle Press was subject to a lengthy audit process which included both our Portland, OR and Rocky Mount, NC facilities. Auditors evaluated Eagle Press’ procedures to ensure that the integrity of the FSC certified product flow will not be compromised.
