MGI ANNOUNCES SALE OF METEOR DP60 PRO DIGITAL PRESS & ENVELOPEXPRESS TO ONE OF EUROPES LARGEST ENVELOPE PRINTERS AT DRUPA

MGI Digital Graphic Technology, the multi-substrate (paper and plastic) digital press and finishing solutions manufacturer, announced today that Bong Ljungdahl, one of Europes leading envelope printers, has purchased MGIs Meteor DP60 Pro 4-color multi-substrate digital press and EnvelopExpress high capacity envelope feeder. This order highlights what should prove to be the best drupa ever for MGI in terms of sales volume.
The Bong Group produces more than 180 million printed envelopes annually with locations in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Poland, Germany, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Russia, Estonia and Lithuania.
The firm employs more than 1,300 employees worldwide and is publicly traded on the OMX Nordic Stock Exchange in Stockholm.
Bong Ljungdahls Kristianstad, Sweden location will use the newly launched Meteor DP60 Pro and EnvelopExpress combination to produce short runs (up to 7,000 envelopes) for their customers, a process previously done using offset presses. Incorporating MGIs Meteor DP60 Pro digital press into their production line will allow Bong Ljungdahl to increase their turnaround times and provide additional flexibility, which should translate into increased profitability.
MGIs digital line offers customers a complete solution for envelope production with the Meteor DP60 Pro multi-substrate digital press for paper and plastics. With the addition of the EnvelopExpress, one of the few digital solutions for envelope printing on the market, customers can see an immediate return on investment and offer their clientele many personalized services.
All of MGIs digital printing and finishing solutions are on display in hall 8b, booth #B10 at drupa 2008, the worlds largest print media trade fair.
