As a global company, Konica Minolta takes its responsibilities towards people and the environment very seriously. The environmental impact of products is taken into account when products are still at the design stage – and during their entire life cycle. The supply chain, production, use and disposal are all carefully monitored in terms of energy efficiency, recycling, waste prevention and compliance with the RoHS Directive. Qualification for eco-friendly labelling such as Germany’s “Blue Angel” scheme and the “Energy Star” programme are testimony to the success of this approach.
