Vivid introduce new Easymount double hot wrap laminator

Thursday 22. May 2008 - Vivid continue to expand the Easymount range with yet another winning system that will appeal to the sign and print market.

The new Easymount Double Hot Wrap is a 1600mm wide format laminator, designed to laminate, mount and encapsulate with the unique feature of 130°heated rollers. The rollers can be independently heated meaning that the operator can select heat to be applied to the top or bottom roller, or both if needed (depending on the application). This increased heat makes the laminating film more pliable and is ideal for vehicle wrapping.
The DHW allows users to run different applications on one system, rather than have a stand alone laminator or mounter. This maximises productivity and increases the range of services that a printer or sign maker can offer.
As well as giving great flexibility, the DHW boasts all of the features that make the Easymount range so popular including a speedy production time of up to 4 metres per minute, large sized rollers for even pressure and a swing out feed tray for easy loading.
The DHW is suitable for Pressure Sensitive Adhesives, Mount Films, Hot Melt Laminates and Encapsulating Films.
The new system will be launched at Drupa and customers are invited to come along and see the DHW in action on stand D38 in Hall 7.2.
