VistaPrint Employee Receives Regional Marketing Prodigy Award

Friday 16. May 2008 - New England Direct Marketing Association Recognizes Christine Wallace

VistaPrint Limited (NASDAQ: VPRT), the small business marketing company, today announced Christine Wallace has received the 2008 Marketing Prodigy Award by the New England Direct Marketing Association. Wallace, who is a Senior Marketing Associate at VistaPrint, received the award for the work she has done on catalog campaigns and other offline marketing channels while at VistaPrint. Each year NEDMA recognizes someone who has already mastered — and added to — the science and art of direct marketing before the age of 30 with the Marketing Prodigy Award.
“Much of VistaPrint’s success and growth over the years can be directly tied back to our unique and effective marketing efforts, and our catalogs are just one of many effective channels,” said VistaPrint’s Chief Marketing Officer for North America Trynka Shineman. “Christine is a shining example of the kind of high value, talented marketing professionals that VistaPrint has been able to recruit and retain. She has been a valued addition to our team and we’re obviously very proud that she and the company are being recognized for her accomplishments.”
VistaPrint is committed to using a variety of direct mail channels including postcard marketing, box inserts, and email. But as an online company VistaPrint recognized the value of print catalogs, where customers can get actual samples of actual products like business cards and postcards. Catalogs also feature exclusive online offers and case studies with real customers who can talk about how they have marketed their own small business.
“VistaPrint’s catalog is an important vehicle for reaching customers we might not touch through online marketing efforts,” said Wallace. “This year’s redesign of the catalog was the result of a great deal of testing and listening to the needs of our customers, which is built in to the culture of VistaPrint. Because of these changes and the overall evolution of the catalog, we have made it a great success. It’s a wonderful honor to receive this award on behalf of everyone who was involved in those efforts.”
The winning entry for Wallace highlighted the numerous projects she has been working on over the past year but focused on her efforts with the VistaPrint catalog. In order to decrease mailing costs, Wallace was able to use a smaller format while increasing the content featured. She managed to reduce catalog mailing costs while increasing the conversion rate significantly.
VistaPrint offers small businesses piece of mind by providing everything they need to market their businesses. Products include high-quality and low-cost printed products such as business cards, postcards, brochures, magnets, graduation announcements, calendars and return address stickers; promotional apparel including hats and T-shirts; and marketing services such as copywriting, design and postcard mailing.
