VistaPrint Wins “Best Shopping Site” in Four Countries

Tuesday 22. January 2008 - Company's Spain, France, Italy and United Kingdom Sites All Honored by MetrixLab in Voter-Based Competition

VistaPrint Limited (NASDAQ: VPRT), the leading online supplier of high-quality graphic design services and customized printed products to small businesses and consumers, today announced that several of its Web sites have been named “Best Shopping Site” for 2007 in the annual competition conducted by European online research agency MetrixLab in cooperation with Nielsen//NetRatings. This is the third year in a row that VistaPrint has been named a winner in the contest. The company previously won “Site of the Year” and “Most Popular Site” for its Spanish site in 2005 and 2006.
“Needless to say we are thrilled that a number of our sites are being recognized by the voters,” said Idaira Machargo, director of e-commerce for VistaPrint España. “Part of VistaPrint’s overall strategy has been to reach customers globally, and this is a clear indication that we are providing customers around the world with the high-quality, low-cost products and services they are looking for — such as business cards.”
The “Website of the Year” is a series of awards chosen by the public but created by MetrixLab and endorsed by Nielsen//NetRatings and several local mass media partners. The voting was conducted over the past few months online. Together, the voting sites generated over 500,000 voters. VistaPrint sites that were nominated for the award included: Spain, France, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, and the United States.
VistaPrint’s 19 Web sites are localized for languages and currencies. They include: Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, European Union, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and the United States. Europe is VistaPrint’s fastest growing geographic market.
Unlike costly traditional printing techniques which produce custom printed orders one at a time, VistaPrint employs patented and proprietary technologies to aggregate custom orders from around the globe and to print them in groups at two highly automated production facilities in Canada and the Netherlands. VistaPrint’s technological innovation helps the company to deliver large volumes of high-quality, customized orders for printed products and promotional items including business cards, business card magnets and moving announcements for a fraction of the cost of traditional graphic designers and printers.
