The new Matrix Duo from Vivid – Double value for money

Wednesday 14. May 2008 - No longer do you have to compromise when looking for an affordable roll fed laminator. The new Matrix Duo offers unique single and double sided lamination and is available in A2 and A1 models.

This dual functioning innovation is hot off the press from Vivid and will be launched at drupa 2008. Customer feedback has shown that a multifunctional roll fed laminator that meets a tight budget is long overdue in the print market and the expected launch of the Matrix Duo is already generating big interest.

So will it live up to expectations? Extensive development and time has been put into the manufacture of this system to ensure it produces the results customers need. The anti-curl bar allows single sided lamination using a 30 micron film producing flat, perfect results in minutes for menus, posters and documents requiring a single side finish in either gloss or matt. The changeover of rolls when doing large runs can also be kept to a minimum as the Duo will take rolls of up to 1000m in length film, ideal for saving valuable time when meeting deadlines. The Duo also offers dual functionality and can easily be converted into a double sided system for encapsulating with 4 different film gauges from 42 micron up to 250 micron making this system ideal for single/double sided laminating and encapsulating.
