The recent promotion of printing industry notables Simon Lane, Brett Maishman and Patrick Bernau at Fuji Xerox Australia will see a combined 60 years experience guide one of Australia’s leading digital print providers into the future.

Simon Lane has been appointed National Manager, Production Services Business with Fuji Xerox Australia. Lane, formerly the Business Manager for Strategic Accounts with Fuji Xerox Australia, joined Fuji Xerox five years ago, after 18 years in the printing and publishing industries including serving as General Manager for dbooks, an on-demand and short-run book producer.

“We are very proud to remain the world leader in digital production printing and workflow solutions, and we recognise that as our customers continue to digitise their businesses, we need to continue offering the best technology and business support.

“My role is to ensure we deliver on our promise and find new and improved ways to meet our customers’ expectations. As a result, I look forward to remaining an active member of the printing industry in Australia.”

Brett Maishman has taken on the role of National Commercial Print Business Manager, responsible for national representation within the commercial print market. Formerly FXA Graphic Arts Industry Marketing Manager, Maishman has more than 25 years of Graphic Arts experience, including 12 of those at Fuji Xerox Australia.

“This is an exciting opportunity, as the commercial print market is a growth area for Fuji Xerox,” Maishman said.

“I look forward to applying skills obtained over a number of years to help accelerate awareness of the solutions Fuji Xerox can provide commercial printers looking to move into the digital market,” he said. Bernau, energised by his new role of Product Services Manager, intends to build on his 23 years experience with Fuji Xerox.

“After six years in production services in the Fuji Xerox corporate offices in Singapore, where I was responsible for production services, strategy and ‘Go To Market’, across South East Asia, North Asia and the Pacific, I am looking forward to energetically applying the knowledge I learned to the Australian market,” Bernau said.

Bernau’s new responsibility will be specifically for expansion of market engagement and stimulating the broad adoption of one-to-one marketing and transpromotional applications.

All 3 individuals are excited about playing an integral role in helping Fuji Xerox Australia further build its reputation as a leader in providing digital print based and electronic document services and solutions.
