Monday 05. May 2008 - Superfos new EcoTM line is a sustainable packaging concept that leaves the world a little bit better. Later this month, the innovation will be awarded the 20th DuPont Awards
UniPak Eco is a 100% recycled and recyclable container with the same high barrier quality as the rest of Superfos products. UniPak Eco marks the beginning of a new Superfos eco era and will be followed by a wide range of sustainable packaging solutions.
The Superfos Eco stamp ensures that significant environmental concerns have been implemented in the packaging solutions. In the near future, the Eco line will be increased by a number of Superfos brands in new, recycled and recyclable variants, thereby securing significant reductions of the CO2 footprint. Therefore, Superfos are very pleased that this concept was selected as a noteworthy accomplishment winner by DuPont.
The sustainable packaging concept is based on the use of post consume raw material only and all containers will be recyclable. The first solution within the Eco line, UniPak Eco, will be released in spring 2008.
