Quick and flexible: SATO presents the new mobile label printer MB4i at interpack

May 2008 - DCS and labelling specialist SATO presents for the first time the new MB4xxi mobile direct thermal label printer MB4i at interpack from 24th to 30th April 2008 in Duesseldorf, Germany (Hal 11/booth 11-C41). SATO is the worlds leading manufacturer of label and barcode printers and a solutions specialist in Data Collection Systems (DCS) and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID).
With the MB4i SATO presents a mobile and handy printer, which is ideal for fast label printing on site – on demand.. SATO MB4xxi series printers are ideally suited to retail applications (price mark down, shelf edge labeling etc..) as well as warehouse and production based solutions.. With a print speed of up to 103 mm/sec the user-friendly MB4i model is one of the fastest mobile printers currently available. The printer is available with a print resolution of 203 or 305 dpi. Both models feature : RS-232 C-, USB 2.0-and IrDA-v1.2 interfaces as standard. The light weight and ease of use ensure absolute mobility, so that the printer can be used even when walking without any problems. Featuring a long life Lithium battery the MB4i prints up to four rolls of labels with no loss of performance.. Other options include an integrated single label dispenser and a linerless conversion kit for use with linerless media..
At the interpack SATO also presents RFID Technology: SATO launches in Duesseldorf its new TAGportal System UHF. Due to its extremely robust case, the ultra-modern RFID Gate can be used in various branches and is ready-to-operate within a few hours build-up.
