Jacobs nominated as a candidate for the Supervisory Board

Friday 02. May 2008 - The Supervisory Board of CeWe Color Holding AG has resolved to nominate Dr. Johann Christian Jacobs for election to the Supervisory Board at the Annual General Meeting on 28 May 2008. He is to succeed Dr. h.c. Manfred Bodin, whom it was announced will be retiring from the Supervisory Board for personal reasons, to take effect at the end of the Annual General Meeting.

Dr. Johann Christian Jacobs holds 6.7 percent of the CeWe Color Holding AG share capital through his investment company Sentosa GmbH. At the office in Hamburg, Jacobs is a partner in the international law firm White & Case. He is responsible for Corporate M&A business. In the period from 2001 to 2004 Jacobs was Chairman of the Board of Administration of Jacobs Holding AG, and was responsible for successfully focusing business activities on three participating interests: Adecco S.A, Barry Callebaut AG and Infront Sports & Media AG. Since 2004 Jacobs has been Chairman of the Jacobs Foundation, one of the largest foundations in Europe. One of the activities of the foundation is to support Jacobs University in Bremen with an amount of 200 million euros.
