IFRA Suppliers Directory and IFRA Newspaper-Community.com for 2008 now published

Monday 14. April 2008 - IFRA publishes latest service information

IFRA has just published the updated version of its international directory of suppliers and service providers to the newspaper and magazine industry. This specialised industry directory, the IFRA Suppliers Directory – Suppliers and Service Providers to the News Publishing Industry (www.ifra.com/suppliersdirectory), is highly appreciated and has been used for many years by publishers and printers as a valuable source of up-to-date company and product information. The revised IFRA Newspaper-Community.com 2008 – Webguide to the News Publishing Industry (www.newspaper-community.com), also recently became available.

IFRA Suppliers Directory with six “super categories”
This work of reference, now in its eleventh edition, has been produced in a print run of more than 10,000 copies that will be distributed in some 80 countries. It covers all aspects of the organisational and technical process for the production, marketing and distribution of newspapers and magazines – both print and online. The IFRA Suppliers Directory 2008 contains 162 A4-sized pages with more than 330 product descriptions in the English language.

This structure of this latest edition has been revised and the directory is now divided into six “super categories”, oriented towards the concrete requirements of IFRA’s members working in the international publishing industry. The following six “super categories” offer faster access to the contents:
– Business/Strategy
– Content Production – editorial/advertising
– Print Media
– Digital Media
– Systems/Workflow
– Materials/Consumables.
More than 120 sub-categories as well as several registers arranged in alphabetical order complement the IFRA industry directory and facilitate its use.

Comprehensive industry information is obtainable also from the IFRA Suppliers Directory Online on the IFRA website www.ifra.com/suppliersdirectory – including a search and organiser function.

With this Suppliers Directory offered both in print and digital form, IFRA gives the decision-makers at publishing and printing companies a practical guide to help them quickly locate the information and contacts they need in their daily work.

IFRA Newspaper-Community.com in its 6th edition
